Privacy Policy

viavaii ("we", "us", "our") operates viavaii.com, a service that turns footage you send us into a finished vertical video ad. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it. We operate from Italy and this policy is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

Account data — name, email address and password hash when you sign up.
Project data — the footage, images, briefs, scripts and any other material you upload to a project, plus the messages you exchange with our team on the project board.
Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the amount, so we can credit your account.
Usage data — pages visited, browser and device information, collected through cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it

To create and run your account, produce the videos you order, process payments, answer support requests, and — only if you accept marketing cookies — to measure and run advertising through the Meta (Facebook/ Instagram) Pixel. We rely on performing our contract with you as the legal basis for account, project and payment data, and on your consent for marketing cookies.

Who we share it with

Stripe, to process payments.
Anthropic and Google, the AI providers whose models we call to analyze your brief and draft scripts — the text and images you send us for a project are transmitted to these providers strictly to produce that project's output, not for any other purpose.
Meta, only if you accept marketing cookies.
Our hosting provider, to run the servers viavaii.com and your data live on.
We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after that in case you come back or for legal and accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time, subject to what we're legally required to keep (e.g. invoices).

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or move it to another provider. Write to info@viavaii.com for any of these. If you think we've mishandled your data, you can also complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we'll post the updated policy here with a new "last updated" date.
